The Scouts win additional funding for The Greenhouse

Winning a Fund

Great news! Thanks to some very hard work at short notice, the Scouts have been successful in applications to both the Thomas Flack Trust Fund and the Mole Valley Capital Grant scheme. The awards total £30,000 which is a huge contribution towards the project.  This takes funding raised by First Fetcham Scout Group for their new HQ to a total of almost £90,000. The money will go towards the cost of the storage building which will mainly be used by the Scouts.

“We’re delighted to be making further progress on The Greenhouse project to create a new Scout HQ within a thriving community centre”.

Jenny Harlow, Group Scout Leader
